What is worth writing about
- A figure that looks wrong. This is the most useful message you can send. Tell us which calculator and what you entered, and it can be reproduced exactly.
- Something that does not work — a button that does nothing, a page that will not load, a number that will not type. Which browser and whether it is a phone both help.
- A calculator you wish existed, or a field missing from one that does.
- Anything about your account or your data — a copy of what is held, a correction, or deletion. See the privacy policy for what that covers.
- A complaint. If something here wasted your time or misled you, that is worth hearing and will not be argued with.
On corrections
The formulas are carried over from the calculators this site replaced and are covered by tests using their own expected figures, but a test only proves a calculation matches what someone decided it should be. If a result disagrees with your bank, your broker or your own arithmetic, the disagreement is worth reporting even if it turns out we were right — an answer that needs explaining is a problem of its own.
What to expect
Pocfinn is small, so replies are not instant and there is no support desk behind this address. Everything sent to it is read.
There is no form on this page on purpose. A form would need somewhere to send messages, a way of holding them and a defence against the robots that find every form on the internet — and it would give you no copy of what you wrote. An email gives you one.
